Pupa Armchair is an unbridled and light chair, suitable for indoor environments designed by Andrea Branzi. Its enveloping volume, suspended on a base with a thin brass structure, enhances its sensual elegance.
Andrea Branzi, after completing his Architecture studies in Florence, moved to Milan in ’73 where he still lives in and teaches as principal of Product design department at Politecnico University. From 1964 to 1974 he has been part of Archizoom Associates and later on co-founded Domus Academy, receiving the “Compasso D’Oro” Award for his lifetime carrier achievements in 1987. He’s author of several books about history and theory of design.
