Primitive Sofa Bouclé
Primitive Sofa Bouclé is a new addition to the Primitive family. Designed by Studio Nucleo it maintains the asymmetrical, padded structure of the armchair introducing a new element as the headrest. This version has also a longer seat allowing three people to comfortably sit on it.
A collective of artists and designers based in Turin (Italy) since 1997. Led by Piergiorgio Robino, designer and functional artist, their practice is well known for its experimental approach to material research at the intersection between art, architecture, furniture and design. Exploring ancient artisanal techniques and materials. They handcraft their pieces, modulating them through contemporary technologies. Pioneers in the field of resin work, they have been refining their techniques for almost twenty years. Their artworks are part of the permanent institutional collections, like the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Triennale Design Museum in Milan, Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA to mention a few.
