Milan Design Week 2022

Tuesday, June 7th saw the unveiling of the first-ever Qeeboo monobrand store. Located in via Crocefisso 27, the five-window and two-story flagship is home to the brand’s signature products, whilst welcoming the newly-born creations of the Qeeboo family. Within a neutral space, visitors experience the brand’s iconic and bold narrative, told through the presence of both out-of-scale items and smaller objects.

This MDW edition was also occasion for the introduction of new Qeeboo products. A collaboration with renowned designer Ron Arad brings to life one of his iconic armchairs, Don’t F**k with the Mouse, in two industrial versions for both outdoor and indoor usage. Multidisciplinary artist and designer Marco Oggian pays homage to the monsters and creatures that make the world so wonderful through a new Qeeboo range of products varying from animal-shaped carpets and ceramic vases to quirky pillows and doormats, all characterized by emblematic bright colors and geometrical shapes. Qeeboo founder and designer Stefano Giovannoni introduces Pako, a small colorful side table featuring an entertaining elephant shape and the Sweet Brothers in different soft touch colors.

In addition, the success of a few iconic families of products was reason to the introduction of new components: the Ribbon Armchair, a comfortable yet romantic seat designed by Nika Zupanc; the asymmetrical Primitive Sofa and the Primitive Bookshelf XS, for smaller contexts, both by Studio Nucleo, just like the two new carpets in chromatic coordination; the Mabelle M Lamp, adaptation of the bigger version designed by Marcel Wanders studio.

Qeeboo is in continuous evolution – it not only presented numerous new greatly-emotional objects but also relaunched and upgraded the brand image, empowering self-expression with a twist of pop, wonder and culture.
